Commands
The main menu (hamburger button on the toolbar, between the connect button and the tab bar) lists commands your server makes available — things like creating a new task, opening a form, running an action, or exposing data from an extension.
The menu is enabled only once you are connected.
What’s in the Menu
Section titled “What’s in the Menu”The menu is entirely server-driven — the entries you see depend on which extensions your server has loaded and what they expose. Menus can be nested: an entry with a submenu arrow opens another menu when hovered.
Each extension is responsible for its own commands and their grouping. Commands open a form in a new tab, open a floating form, or run in the background — the behaviour is defined by the extension.
Running a Command
Section titled “Running a Command”Click the command. Depending on what it does, you may:
- Land on a new tab containing a form to fill in (for example, to create a new task or configure an entity).
- See a floating window open with its own form.
- Have the action complete silently, with the result reported in the status bar.
If a form is shown, fill it in and submit it using the form’s buttons — typically OK or Save. Your changes are sent to the server when you submit.
