The Nonbl desktop client is how you build and manage home-automation tasks. You connect it to your Nonbl server, design task graphs by dragging operations together, and watch them run.

This section walks through the things you will actually do with the client.

At the top of the window is the toolbar:

  • The connect / disconnect button on the left — shows your connection state and opens the login dialog when disconnected.
  • The menu button (hamburger) — runs commands defined by the server. Only enabled once you are connected.
  • The tab bar — one tab per open form. If you have more tabs than fit, left/right arrows appear to scroll.
  • The configuration button (gear) on the right — opens Settings, Help, About, and reset actions.

The status bar at the bottom shows the connection state, the latest message from the server, and any pending errors or warnings.

Between them is the main working area. What you see there depends on whether you are connected and which form or task you have open.
